Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids

Founded in 2008, Critter Crusaders of Cedar Rapids is Iowa’s only all-volunteer animal medical nonprofit. The mission of this organization is to restore health and adoptability to homeless animals who have suffered the most in society, including neglect, hoarding and abuse, illness and traumatic injury. These discarded pets are at the highest risk of euthanasia while Critter Crusaders provides and guides advanced medical and surgical care at no cost to shelters. Critter Crusaders receives no local, state or federal funding, derives no income and relies solely on private donations and fundraisers. Critter Crusaders is a true altruistic nonprofit that exists to restore broken lives throughout Eastern Iowa.
