Eastern Iowa Health Center

The mission of Eastern Iowa Health Center is to provide a medical home by offering patient-focused, quality comprehensive primary, oral, OB/GYN and behavioral health care services to individuals and families in the service area, regardless of ability to pay. EIHC was founded in 2008 to expand the health care safety net for the underserved in the community. In 2018, EIHC served 13,541 unduplicated patients in over 52,900 health care visits. EIHC provides support services to patients, including translation, insurance enrollment, transportation assistance, social workers and more. 73% of EIHC patients live at or below the federal poverty level.
