National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Johnson County

NAMI, (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s leading grassroots, self-help, education, support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI Johnson County is the local affiliate of NAMI Iowa and NAMI National, with a focus on service in Iowa City, Coralville, North Liberty and all of Johnson County. NAMIJC enables people living with a mental illness and their families to meet and learn from each other through educational programs on illnesses, symptoms, treatment options and available services. NAMIJC is also an advocate for access to services, treatment, support and research with a steadfast commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all in need.
